Upgrade assets

This action allows you to upgrade services. The upgrade action does not change the current service provider.

  1. Click Actions beside he service you want to upgrade.
  2. Select Upgrade. A pop-up opens.
  3. Read the instructions on the screen and click Continue.
  4. A 7-part upgrade wizard opens. Enter or confirm:
    • Your identification details‍.
    • Returning the item that is replaced by the upgrade‍.
    • Selecting an item as the upgrade‍.
    • Plan and options for the upgrade.
    • Selecting accessories for the upgrade.
    • Additional details regarding the upgrade.
  5. Confirm and click Submit to complete upgrade request.

Your build of Cimpl may be configured to allow you to select an approver or multiple approvers for self-service actions.

Your build of Cimpl may be configured to allow you to select an approver or multiple approvers for self-service actions.

  1. Click on + Approver. A list of users who can serve as approval authorities opens.
  2. Click on the name of the person who you want to select as an approver. Your selection appears in the self-service form.
  3. Repeat the approver selection step for as many approvers as is required.
  4. Once you have selected all the approvers needed, click Confirm. A summary page for the request opens.
