Upgrade assets
This action allows you to upgrade services. The upgrade action does not change the current service provider.
- Click Actions beside he service you want to upgrade.
- Select Upgrade. A pop-up opens.
- Read the instructions on the screen and click Continue.
- A 7-part upgrade wizard opens. Enter or confirm:
- Your identification details.
- Returning the item that is replaced by the upgrade.
- Selecting an item as the upgrade.
- Plan and options for the upgrade.
- Selecting accessories for the upgrade.
- Additional details regarding the upgrade.
- Confirm and click Submit to complete upgrade request.
Your build of Cimpl may be configured to allow you to select an approver or multiple approvers for self-service actions.
Select an approver:
Your build of Cimpl may be configured to allow you to select an approver or multiple approvers for self-service actions.
- Click on + Approver. A list of users who can serve as approval authorities opens.
- Click on the name of the person who you want to select as an approver. Your selection appears in the self-service form.
- Repeat the approver selection step for as many approvers as is required.
- Once you have selected all the approvers needed, click Confirm. A summary page for the request opens.
